We all know that only a few of us are able to climb the ladder of our career as we do not
have required academic qualifications to higher positions. But there are countries with career
ladders where they can join any level relevant to their academic background and move upward by
following split programs combining their professional experience and academic work which are more
popular and effective. It is a fact that Sri Lanka has great professionals with much experience and
professional qualifications; but compared to others they do not have higher academic credentials to
compete with others as they do not have relevant academic qualifications. Hence, like in other countries,
they also should be able to acquire suitable academic qualifications as they are the major human
resource of the country who have already contributed/contributing to the operational system of the country.
One of the main objectives of this program is to distinguish such talents and promote them through
recognition by awarding relevant degree qualifications (Phd, Master’s, Doctorates) based on the
successful completion of the same
